Kayaking to Horseshoe Bend

Agenda: 

Meet at the church building at 2:00PM. 

Load Cooler & Any excess kayaks. 

2:20pm - Leave for Horseshoe Bend Boat Ramp

2:40pm - Unload Kayaks

2:50pm - Kayak across to the Waterfall. 

3:00pm - Hike up to the waterfall & play

5pm - Kayak back to load up

6pm - Back at the church building

Let us know tonight if we need to borrow a kayak for you. 

This is a very short and easy kayak that beginners can do. 

There is a fun swimming hole with shade, hot lakewater and cold stream water where the waterfalls drain into the lake.  We will swim! 

If you want to take a fishing rod to the swimming hole, there is some easy bass and blue gill fishing.
