Our VBS Speaker Tonight: John Pippin

For nearly a quarter-century, Cookeville native John Pippin has dedicated his life to full-time ministry, transforming congregations from Southwestern Missouri to Western Kentucky. Driven by a deep academic foundation—holding both a Bachelor’s in Bible and a Master’s in the New Testament from Freed-Hardeman University—John doesn’t just teach scripture; he lives it. Since 2006, he has been a pillar of the Baxter congregation, while simultaneously energizing audiences across the region as a sought-after speaker for youth events and gospel meetings. His commitment to the next generation extends beyond the pulpit, evidenced by years of dedicated service on the board of directors for both Happy Haven Children’s Home and regional church camps. John is happily married to his wonderful wife, Allison (formerly Mangrum of Dickson, TN). We are excited to have John with us!
